U K EXPRESS COURIERS DELIVERS CHRISTMAS CHEER
To mark the 20th anniversary of the National Courier Association NCA, local NCA member U K EXPRESS COURIERS in LEEDS, delivered presents to cash for kids Toy Appeal in conjunction with 96.3 radioaire.
The sackful of presents donated by U K Express Couriers included toys for 0-2 year olds, dolls, rattles, teethers, play sets & building blocks etc and will be given to children who will be in hospital, local hospices and care homes over the Christmas period.
According to Phil Bridge, managing director of U K Express Couriers, “The NCA is an established nationwide network of around 80 independent ‘same day’ courier companies, enabling us to collect items from any major town across the UK within just 45 minutes.
“To mark our anniversary, we have delivered 1,600 Christmas presents to sick children across the UK. The NCA is proud to have made over one million deliveries throughout the year on behalf of our clients – and delivering these presents to local hospices and hospitals has been particularly satisfying.
“We hope that the NCA has delivered some Christmas cheer. Our thoughts are with these children and their families during this difficult time.”
